CHARLES ARMSTRONG
Broker – Owner/Founder
Charles grew up in the small town of Bastrop, TX, located approximately 30 miles east of Austin. With a love for hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors and a passion for serving people, ranch real estate was a natural fit. With family ranches in Jim Hogg, Colorado, La Salle, and Uvalde counties, as well as NW Colorado, an appreciation for wildlife, livestock, and open spaces run deep.
After graduating from Texas A&M University, Charles and his wife Ryan spent a few years in Laredo, Texas, before settling in New Braunfels, Texas, in 2012. They live in New Braunfels with their daughters Audrey, Ella and son Brooks. Charles spends his free time with his family and is active in his local church. You can find him on the ranch or his poling skiff with his fly rod when time allows.

J. BOYD VAUGHAN
Realtor®/Partner
For most of his life, J.Boyd called Runge home, a small quaint town only about 100 miles away from the Texas Coast. He grew up chasing redfish near the Gulf of Mexico, tracking whitetail deer through the brush of South and Central Texas, and aiding in his father’s passion for running cattle. Through his experiences, he learned the value of hard work, developed an appetite for the outdoors, and, more importantly, a desire for others to have that same experience. The real estate industry has opened a door and allowed J.Boyd to serve others, whether it involves livestock, wildlife, or recreational retreats.
J.Boyd takes pride in many things, but his love for the Lord and his household of four is where he finds value: his wife, Kelsea, and his two kids, Jameson and Bradleigh. Beyond that, his desire to serve others runs deep and rarely goes unnoticed.
J. Boyd graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2014, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics with a focus on Finance and Real Estate. Once he graduated, he was hired as a Capital Farm Credit (CFC) loan officer and spent eight years financing rural properties and agricultural production operations. He finished his career at CFC in August of 2022. Serving the same client base, J. Boyd is looking forward to providing his expertise by representing buyers and sellers in the ranch real estate industry.

TOMPALL GLASER
Realtor®
Tompall Glaser is a 5th-generation Texan born and raised in Fayette County, Texas. He spent much of his childhood playing baseball, hauling hay, and fishing for largemouth bass in Fayette Lake. After graduation, Tompall pursued his BBA Finance degree at Texas State University. His degree was first put to use at the LCRA, where he learned the intricacies of the electric power market, and later at various private equity companies focused on investing in and operating fleets of power plants across the country. Tompall recently decided to add ranch real estate agent to his resume at the suggestion of several close friends, in no small part due to the knowledge and expertise he gained while working to bring his family’s property in Kimble County back to health after decades of being over-hunted and overgrazed. During this time and through working with his grandfather, he learned the concept of land stewardship and what it means to “plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit.”
Tompall has built rainwater collection systems, written and negotiated long-term hunting leases, learned the land’s history, and managed the property by looking decades into the future and making present-day decisions to support future goals. In addition, he has served as President of the Harper Wildlife Management Association, knows large swaths of Texas exceptionally well, and as a passion project, created a social network called the Texas Buck Registry to engage with hunters, ranchers, and landowners and share information on land and wildlife management. Since 2012, over 5,000 hunters have recorded their deer on the Registry and gathered more than 40K active followers on social media. Tompall’s commitment to going above and beyond for his clients fits in perfectly with the ethos at Capital Ranch Sales, where the client’s goals are the North Star. Tompall currently resides in Austin, Texas, with his two children, Oliver and Ada, his wife, Sarah, and pup, Chief.
